Recorded and preformed in several hours at Willem Twee Studios in Den Bosch by recording six church organ parts in F Major and cutting them to three-dual-mono tape loops divided over three Studer tape machines. These loops were played back and dub mixed using only the playback speed, three Telefunken filters and a Russian Big Muff. Afterwards the various takes were layered and processed gently.

These 12 pieces are an exercise in having fun. Much like being a kid and making jams with your friends, these pieces are simply power chords and a little stupid melody, played with little care. I wanted to explore this idea as a response to the rising popularity of organ drone music and how sanctimonious it’s become. I wanted to use the organ for as little as possible but still capture its awesome sound and then proceed to destroy it with tape and a big muff. But mostly, drones are cool, distortion is cool and pitching things up and down is endlessly fun.
